NTFS permission report on Nutanix File Share?

Can EReporter generate reports on NTFS permissions on Nutanix File Share? Maybe you saw it done by another customer by chance?

Customer would like to do that. “Nutanix” file storage solution/appliance/technology is not mentioned in EReporter official docs, knowledge base.

Nutanix is semi-like NAS files storage solution. OOB EReporter can collect from the following NAS devices types: NetApp, Dell Fluid FS, EMC Isilon. Connection to the appliance: IP + Port + credentials.

Customer tried to do EReporter collection against Nutanix file share as “NetApp”: IP + Port (SMB protocol/445) + credentials. It was unsuccessful. Reported error: cannot read folders.

Any information, opinion, direction is appreciated.

    Nutanix File Storage appliance does support SMB protocol. Therefore,

    Correct settings: Reporter | NTFS Collection |  AD\nutanix$ computer | (shows) DFS shares list. | Add (with option as "DFS Share")  \myshare - that is Scope. 

    Collection shows scope as: \\mutanux$\myshare 

    Rights: the AD\account on collection job/node needs to have rights.
